Today we had the pool drained to get ready to re-surface. Here the guys are emptying it into our storm drain. They started about 9am and it was empty within hours….

Today Lisa and I discovered Blue Berries on her bush in the front yard. Right after we started our daily walk she spotted them from across the yard. We have had the bushes for several years (even moved them once) and I think this is the first crop. Well maybe this first not eated yet. We were both very excited.

This weekend I attempted something I’ve never done. I tiled a bedroom in our house. My hands suffered most, next my knees. I fact, I need a few days to recover before I do the grout.

lisa and I are working on moving some daylillys into a new garden. This morning we planted these flowers.

Lisa and I found these on a confederate rose tree we were cutting.  We think they are some kind of aphid.  They moved around in this funny way all in a group.
