Despite the weather outside, it is warm and beautiful inside.   Almost all of my orchids have bloomed and they look great.  This past year I determined the perfect place for them outside under two oak trees.  I brought them in as it cold last month and they all bloomed.

Yesterday Evan and I went to the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens annual festival.  We had a great time, eat some food checked out all of the boths.  We got three new orchids and some new stones/gems for our collection.

We got this orchid, but broke off the entire stock on the way home.Â
It sucked, but at least we can enjoy it for a little while.

Yesterday morning an orchid of mine finally bloomed.  In fact, I think this is the first for me.   I have been watching & caring for them for many months, even moving them into the house when the nights turn cold.   The timing of this is just divine.  Like this beautiful flower, I have this overall feeling of a new beginning.

Tonight I added this to our orchid collection.  I got this wonderful Dendrobium Orchid at our local Lowes for $10.  I really like having them around and thinking about how peaceful they grow and the beauty they provide.  There is something so seductive about them.
