• Perfect 16-0

I just watched the New England Patriots beat the New York Giants 38-35 to go 16-0 and undefeated for the second time in NFL history.  The first of course was the 1972 Dolphins.   Since I grew up in Miami and a Dolphins fan I was pulling for the Giants, who were up 12 in  the 3rd.  But as the minutes ticked and after a great TD catch from Brady to Moss (Brady’s 50th for the season) to take the lead I also shifted my choice to the Pats.  Great  perfect season!  Lets see if you can go all the way.

  • Taste of the NFL

I enjoyed the many tastes associated with going to an NFL game.  Food, beverages,  junk food, more food, more beverages…Sid gave me his tickets to the Jags v. Falcons game for today at AllTel Stadium.  I took Cameron for the 1pm game.   We left Gainesville at about 11am and got into our parking spot (awesome parking lot E 100 yards from the door) at exactly 12:40.   That left us some time to tailgate for the second time this weekend.   I made homemade cornbeef and ham sandwiches.  Here we are enjoying the time before kickoff.

Here is a shot from our seats.   Sid has the best seats.  Right on the 40 in the Touchdown Club.

Cameron and I enjoyed the time together on the ride over and ride back.   We listen to XM Satellite Radio Station 49, Big Tracks, and sang most the way.   We left as the game was finishing and arrived home by 5:45 non-stop from Jacksonville.

I think its really cool to be able to be there, the big city, and then be home and swimming in my pool by 6pm.   Life is good. :>  I really enjoyed the game, but enjoyed Cameron the most.

  • Alltel in Jacksonville

Tonight Ernie and I went to the Monday Night Football game, Jags vs. Giants. The Jags crushed the Giants & Manning. We saw many interesting things that night especially in the parking lot before the game, right Ernie ;>
