Tonight I escorted Bishop Victor Galeone, the bishop of the Diocese of St. Augustine  into the annual Catholic Charities dinner at the Touchdown Terrace at Florida Field.

We had about  eight 4th Degree Knights in the Color Guard.

Mark and I walked with the Bishop to his seat.   The dinner was catered and made on site by Carrabba’s Italian Grill and was awesome as usual.    Thanks John Barli, a soon to be  Knight of Columbus!

Yesterday I got the privilege of escorting our Bishop, Victor Galaone, during the Mass for the dedication of the new sanctuary.  I had never been to a blessing of a Church.  It was very cool as the Priest, Roland Julien and our Bishop blessed and anointed each of the four walls.

On Monday I participated in the 5th annual Bible Mass for the incoming freshman class.  Here we are in our regalia after being recognized by the Pricipal Ernie Herrington.   Each year all of the K of C Councils in Gainesville contribute money to purchase the bibles for each incoming freshman.

Tonight I was officially installed as the Financial Secretary for my council #13207.
These guys are actually from two Gainesville councils, #11448 (on the left) and #13207 (on the right)

Today Bob, Jon & I honored our veterans and participated in Mass.
