This morning Jessica and I went to Iron Wood for 9 holes.  Its always fun to play golf the morning before a Gator game.  :>

I haven’t played in a more than a year but I did pretty good today.  1 birdie,  3 pars and …lets not talk about the rest… Jessica did great!  It was the first time playing with me and she was even sporting new clubs.

This morning I took the boys to the range to hit some balls.  We went to WestEnd Golf Course.  We are practicing for Cameron’s upcoming Junior Golf Tour. He will play a round each Monday for the next 9 weeks.   Both boys did very well.  Cameron has definately gotten stronger and more accurate.  Evan has much better form and can hit the ball.    After hitting several hundred balls we went to the putting green and had a mini tournament.

Today we played with uncle Rob at Turkey Creek.

Today Cameron and I played 9 holes at Iron Wood Golf Course.  One of our favorites.  Before we went, we stopped at Play It Again Sports and bought him some new used PING clubs.  A great bargin, $119 for a set + bag.  He was in dire need for an upgrade (he has grown about 5 inches since we had his old ones made 2 years ago.)   Now his brother gets his first set. :>  Cameron did great with his new clubs.  I hit 6 pars!  A very good day for me.    But best of all, I was able to spend some good quality time with my oldest.

Today Cameron played in his 1st round in the GJGT.  He played at Turkey Creek Country Club.  This is Cameron yesterday during a practice round.  Despite not playing much in the past year, he was ready for the challenge.  He was so brave this morning.  I was very proud.
