On Saturday I must mention it was a heartbreak loss.  we had the (second) Tigers on the ropes going into the last minute. Actually, they had us in the last several minutes..

This week off, then we play Kentucky in Lexington on Saturday.

Today Cameron, Evan, Ernie, Mark, Josh, Kevin and I tailgated before the UF v. UT game at the swamp.  The game was at 3:30, but we got there early to watch the 2006/2007  basketball team get their championship rings.  So we left the tailgate at 3pm and got into the swamp just in time to see the ceremony.     

The football team then took the field and on their 1st posession, ran the ball back for a touchdown!   

The fifth-ranked Gator football team improved to 3-0 after defeating conference rival Tennessee 59-20 in front of 90,707 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in the conference opener for both teams.

Then it was Miller Time

Tonight Evan and I invited Ernie and Thomas and met Deena and Lawrence for tailgating before the Gators played Troy State in the second game of the season.

I saw Troy State roll into town.  They drove their motorcase by my office window late Friday.  

They also rolled the Gators in the second half.  But fortunately Florida scored alot of points.   I was surprised they let their offense score 30 points but felt better after listening to Urban’s radio show after.  He basically said we need to correct some issues, but that his team is very young team going aganist a bowl potential.

Tonight Cameron, Evan, Ernie and I went to the swamp and saw Tebow get his first college start.  Oh Man…  He threw for 300+ yards and went 13 for 17.   He exceeded my expectation.   The game is actually in rain delay and we are at home.  haha.  We left with 9:32 to go and the game was called for weather minutes later. 

UPDATE:  We are watching Fox Sports on TV and the stadium is empty and full of rain.   Here, 3 miles away, no rain.

Update for Update: The game was called for lighting. This was the 1st time in the 101 year history for florida football.  Gators Win.
