  • Taste of the NFL

I enjoyed the many tastes associated with going to an NFL game.  Food, beverages,  junk food, more food, more beverages…Sid gave me his tickets to the Jags v. Falcons game for today at AllTel Stadium.  I took Cameron for the 1pm game.   We left Gainesville at about 11am and got into our parking spot (awesome parking lot E 100 yards from the door) at exactly 12:40.   That left us some time to tailgate for the second time this weekend.   I made homemade cornbeef and ham sandwiches.  Here we are enjoying the time before kickoff.

Here is a shot from our seats.   Sid has the best seats.  Right on the 40 in the Touchdown Club.

Cameron and I enjoyed the time together on the ride over and ride back.   We listen to XM Satellite Radio Station 49, Big Tracks, and sang most the way.   We left as the game was finishing and arrived home by 5:45 non-stop from Jacksonville.

I think its really cool to be able to be there, the big city, and then be home and swimming in my pool by 6pm.   Life is good. :>  I really enjoyed the game, but enjoyed Cameron the most.

  • Life is good, Food is sensual

Tonight Lisa made the most amazing dinner. She went to Northwest Seafood and got about a 1lb of Tuna and 1/2lb of salmon.  The salmon was for the boys.  I grilled it plain and we served it with white rice baked potato.  It was a loaded baked potato with butter and lots of cheese.  Evan did something new… he ate it right out of the skin and loved it.

The Tuna we seared using our gridder.   We make the griddler real hot then with a little oil we sear for several minutes.   We serve the Tuna with 2 things.  The first and most wonderful is grated ginger by The Ginger People.  We recently got turned on to this and can I tell you about the power of taste… mmmmmm.. We then added warm Yoshitas for dipping.

When I thought it couldn’t get any better, It did. Lisa also made her famous Wedge Salad.

Iceberg letuce, crumpled bacon and her very special creamy blue cheese dressing.

  • Chicken & Red Peppers

One of our favorite salads right now has fresh grilled chicken marinated in Mr. Yoshida’s sauce, grilled red peppers, corn, chick peas, feta cheese and lisa’s special caesar dressing. Tonight I grilled a triple batch for a lunch that Lisa is preparing for tomorrow. Buy Here

  • St Patricks Day

Today the boys and I went to Kissimmee to see bob and linda and to meet my mom, john & mathew. Mom looked very good and we enjoyed also seeing brigett, bobby, shawn, Angela & natale.

My aunt Linda made cornbeef & cabbage. It was awesome!
