Today the City of Gainesville held a run-off election for Mayor. It was between a longtime politician and a person with no political experience. Well, the politician won, but by only 35 VOTES out of more than 12,000 votes casted. I guess that represents about 16% of the registered voters, which is sad, but considered a good turnout.
