Subscribe to PostsToday Evan had a class party and invited the parents. At the beginning, they each read a class project in which they had to write about an immigrant to the United States. Some choose family members and some made theirs up. With the help of his mom, Evan talked about Joe Healy coming from Ireland and arriving in New York. Joe was a potato farmer, but ‘hated’ them. I was so proud of Evan. Who by the way, was not affaid at all to stand up there and read.
